Cup run, baby!
Then no space for Markov or Radulov, I believe.

I would like this line up

Pacioretty Danault Drouin
Byron Galchenyuk Radulov
Lehkonen Plekanec Gallagher
Hudon Mitchell McCarron/De La Rose
Martinsen
(No room for Shaw in the top 9)

Markov Weber
Alzner Petry
Schlemko Benn
Jerabek Davidson

Price
Montoya

If we don't fix or top six centre holes then it's a waste of a year. I'm sure Price will clamour to sign here knowing he's wasting his prime years.

The Price extension is progressing very well according to the insiders

The only reason for Price to sign will be money if we run a line up with no centre again. The team is aging. No chance we see a cup in Montreal with the centres we have

I cut Rads assuming Marleau was necessary to sign Joe. Not like we need more LWer's.

Markov, Radulov, Thornton....all available
MTL with $16.3M of cap space
Galchenyuk without a contract
Center, LD and general offensive skills are still a problem

Let's get it done MB.

5 for marky, 5.75 for Galch, 6.25 for Radu and we can do it if we move a contract out. Get it done.

I wonder what the cut-off is on the offers MB made to Markov and Radulov.

The Canadiens can't sit around and wait for the players to decide.

In 2009 Bob Gainey said he sent a contract to Kovalev to sign but the Russian took too long to respond and the money was spent elsewhere. Of course, it's possible that Gainey was just being passive-aggressive because Kovy was a fan favorite. BTW, Kovalev led the team in scoring his final year in Montreal.

That and $2.10 will get you an extra large Tim Horton's coffee. Imagine if you where the best goalie in the world, in your prime and a year out of free agency your team still can't get a damned centre. Would you be super motivated to waste your prime?

well the good news is there isn't really much left so we can probably afford to wait until tomorrow

Offersheet Draisatl 11.5M/7y
trade Plek with a second included for a 6th rounder
resign Radulov 4/6M
trade Galchenyuk for a PMD, anyone that can skate, pass and play on the power play.
