Seems to be a good bargaining ploy. Sign tweener guys to one way deals. If they're in the minors who cares, it's just money. League minimum is a good salary to have if he's gonna be an extra in the NHL.

Yeah I guess. They'll just put him through waivers if they don't like him out of camp. Although Julien had him in Boston, so maybe he likes him.

Boooring. Guess our best hope is to resign Rads and Markov and call it a summer.

1 year for Markov is fine. 2 years with a cap hit of 5 or less is fine.

Problem is he wants 6 AAV and 2 year deal. Poison pill contract with that second year. If MB caved he would be paying double would any GM is willing to pay right now. Would you pay double for your next TV? I am offering you a TV for 1000$ but you would pay 2000$ just because?
Not suggesting the Habs should do 2 years; I was saying I had no problem with Markov wanting 2 years from the Canadiens. The marketplace will have the final word.

If Radulov signs who does he play ahead of on the wing?

If Radulov doesn't sign I have no problem with him playing ahead of Shawful.
