2-1 Sabres. Not much else to say I guess. It's kind of hard to be optimistic with the way we shuttle to the penalty box every game. Bad refs or not, it's troubling to watch all the undisciplined penalties we've been taking in these games.

It seems like we're asking too much out of our lineup for scoring to me.

Your bad record works for you when you play our team. We always suck against teams we "should" beat. I'll say 3-1 Wild.

I agree. It will be either a low-scoring close game that can go either way, or Buffalo will run us out of the arena with a few PP goals (their PP is pretty good, 8th in the league at 20% conversion rate)

Good news is that we will likely have a conscious Zholtok and a rusty Pascal back in the lineup, might help a little bit...

Anybody notice that Burns was put on IR today. There is a post on wild.com about it in one of the papers. (some reason I didn't even take notice of which paper!)

Anyways, I was just wondering if the Wild will stash Burns for a indefinite amount of time so they can keep holding off the inevitable decision they will have to make. Same junk goes on in the NBA, does it go on in the NHL? To tell the truth, I never really noticed.

Sabres letdown after the big road win. Dupuis gives the Wild a small spark. Defense improves. I'll also say Wild 3, Sabres 1. I hope.

I posted my prediction on sunday prior to the Sabres beating Colorado.

I know their confidence is souring right now. Add that to today being their first home game in about 2 weeks, and the fact that today is Rob Ray Appreciation night, and i say it's gonna be 4-0 Sabres. Yes, I'm that confident (but I could be wrong).

Woo!

2 for 3 on the road trip. Can't complain much about that, big-picture-wise.

One of our better games, I thought. Nice pressure early on. Bit of a slump again after that, but they managed to hang on. Alex Henry looked pretty nervous at first, I wonder if someone told him to calm down. I wasn't as impressed as the TV guys were with him, but he certainly had some nice moments. I'd like to see him keep it up. Nice to see Daigle get another one, he had some good chances. Walz made another of his "ok, now I'm going to pass... psyche, I shot!" goals.. those are always fun. I thought Roche looked decent out there tonight, too. Dupuis looked pretty good for his first game back, all things considered.

Thursday's game will be another test, that's for sure.
