I hope we can get W at home...I don't know what the deal. Always thought it's easier to play at home.

I'm predicting a lousy game due to lousy ice...

A Rap concert last night, The Celtics tonight and warmer weather..

Bruins 2 - Habs 2 ....with pucks bouncing and players falling.

I'll travel to Boston tomorrow to see the game. I hope my habs will put a better effort than yesterday.

If you see someone with a Markov jersey and a mohawk, well that's me.

I didnt think the Habs lacked effort on tuesday- they had some good chances, and ran into a hot goaltender.

Actually, Garon made some nice stops too. -Piels

GO BRUINS GO!!!
We've also played a grand total of two games at home this season.

No big deal. We'll get a win soon, and I'm thinking that will be tonight!

yes, their first 3 lines are combine for 700lbs...
Thornton is too dominant for the little habs...he is also due for another one of his 3 points game!
their only chance is if Joe want to mail the Game.... as the rest of the Bruins...
They are not in the same league...
If the Bruins play like tuesday, at 9h30, we will have another win and 2 more points in the bank!

i'm with you Wally. Potvin makes sense and Raycroft has always had success vs Pittsburg.
I would have Potvin tonight and Raycroft on saturday vs the pens.
Potvin had a great games on tuesday, so ride him while he's hot!!
but like you said, we still don't know who sullivan will choose....

It doesn't matter, really.

They have absolutelly indentical records 3 - 1 - 1 - 0.

In your Habs interests..put Garon in the net, he is better of the two. (This year anyway)

Yeah, the bruins are out of our league..we've heard that before..I recall the bruins finishing first and the Habs 8th, and yet we eliminate them in 6. With a worse off team to boot.
How many times is it we kicked your teams *****? When we were the better team, we'd cream them..when the Habs were the worse team, they'd still beat the B's..we'll end up once again tying the season series and then if we meet in the playoffs kicking your teams ***** all over again.
You Bostonians have always had a bunch of losers for teams..the sox to the yankees, and the bruins to the Habs. And whenever you guys think your team is gonna wind up on top, what happens..you all get deflated, and it's so funny to see.
Remember, the bruins will always be the Habs personal *****es. Your team just doesn't know how to win the big games.

the skating smurfs have shown up to play tonight. what that means, is that there's a bunch of little men skating fast around the ice. this team still sucks though, and for us to win, we'll need to play much much much better than we did in the 1st. i thought the 4th line was good, and the 2nd line had a few great shifts, but lines 1 and 3 didn't have much going. i'd like to see joe paste someone into the boards, maybe get a little life into the building...but alas, i think he's just too friendly
oh- nice to see the refs turning the blind eye towards the boarding calls there were 2 or 3 hits that should've been called- one of them by hossa, who i didn't expect to be a dirty little guy, since his brother is more of a skilled player.
pick it up in the 2nd...that's all. potvin was sharp once again though.

Tim Taylor on PJ's goal; as for the game, Sullivan just on WBZ and not real happy. He didn't like the decisions they made in neutral zone. I expect the Broons to have a better effort rest of game.

One thing I notice is the Broons don't really have a home ice. I go to about half the home games and its not even close to the Gah-den in intimidation or better yet, getting the players pumped up. Thats most of what a home field is- getting players to feel energized and have that extra step. When the Broons start winning consistently people will come out, the place will get louder and hopefully it will work its way down to the ice.

MOC on right now on WBZ with Goucher.....

MOC- looking good so far at 10 games but lot of room for improvement. He thought he'd get this goaltending from Raycroft- Felix is a bonus; cites Esenssa as tweaking his game.....on Bergeron, "been great, but work in progress, very smart on ice, terrific sense, plays like 10 year veteran"....on Sullivan, "knows league, players, what players can and can't do; players understand he isn't bsing them- very straight, honest guy who loves the game; players feel he has their best interest at heart and they appreciate it"
