Jost

add

JCB

Still think Compher is getting snubbed here, but it's clear ceiling is the mantra with this ranking. That and I don't feel like being on the losing side twice in a row.

Jost should win almost unanimously here; but I'm very curious to see how the next poll goes. I know a lot of people are going to vote Compher because of the way he finished the year in the NHL; but I'm still very uncertain whether we have a legit top 6er on a playoff caliber team in JTC. So if he's "just" a great middle 6er, then I can't vote for him ahead of Meloche or Bigras.

I voted Compher in the last poll and since he didn't win I'm sticking with him in this poll.

Jost easily for this one. From here things will get interesting. Jost and Makar were much closer in the polls than I thought they would be.

Add JCB.

I feel like it's hard to ignore Compher for the 3rd spot because he's overcome nearly every challenge. He did well with the transition into the AHL which earned him a spot in the NHL where he showed well. There's little risk left in Compher because of everything he has accomplished compared to Meloche who hasn't had the chance to show anything at the AHL level for example.

For me it's Compher than one of Bigras/Meloche.

Should be a home run for Jost, who could have easily ranked #1

Compher is my pick for 3rd, he really came into his own last year, and I don't think he's done growing his game either.

I agree with this. I refuse to put a ceiling on JTC. I was blown away with his speed and puck skill last year. I don't watch must NCAA at all but the reviews of JTC made me think of a poor mans Sean Couturier. Very smart which is where his production comes from along with great defensive play but not an overly gifted player. He's tremendously gifted though. Not only does he have major wheels, but he's super crafty with the puck.

He's so well rounded it's unfair. I don't want to inflate expectations and for all I know he may have already hit his ceiling, but I'm incredibly excited about JTC. Arguably my favorite prospect.

But... Jost in this poll

Jost and add Beaudin

For 3 it should be Meloche as he's a safe bet to be at least a top 4 D while Compher/Greer/Beaudin are likely 2/3 tweeners. Bigras and maybe even Timmins should go ahead of the forwards as well

I can see the lobbying has already started Guess it depends on how high NHL experience is valued but in my mind top 4 D have a high value.
