Love it. Was hoping Chia would add a veteran player to complete the roster, the added versatility is a bonus. Can produce offensively, good at faceoffs, shootout specialist, can mentor Puju. Seems like a very good fit.

Excellent signing. Vet winger who can help out on faceoffs and play special teams. He had an off year from a points standpoint, but his underlying numbers are solid despite playing some quality minutes.

And for Puljujarvi who obviously struggles with the language, having a Finn who has played 12 years in the NHL could be huge.

On the surface, Jokinen is the absolute perfect fit for this club.

Nice.

If he can play wing and center, will be a nice pick up for the Oilers. Is nice because it gives an extra finnish player to be a mentor for JP.

He must've either been worried about the Oilers signing someone else or really want to play here. That's the type of money you take in late August

No real special talent outside of good hockey IQ. Good defensive ability, good PKer. A somewhat invisible, low key player who's not flashy but tends to quietly be a very positive impact. Even last season he wasn't that bad, certainly not 1.1mil bad and he might bounce back.

Exactly what I was hoping for when I heard that both Pouliot and Jokinen were bought out.

Not bad, not bad at all. Even if he's terrible it won't be a big deal on that contract.

Hopefully he has a bounce back year, but he is 34.

Awesome signing, I loved him with the Pens and he's cheap. If he does well signing him another year or two likely wouldn't be hard either.

Eberle would be much too big of a wuss to have that much vigor and aggression in him that Jussi showed, cross-checking Tavares into his own goalie. Don't think I've ever seen that from Eberle, unless it was from his rookie season.

Strome and Jussi should both bring a lot more character and passion than Eberle has since his first 2 seasons, easily.

A lot of people (correctly) pointing out that this is a big help for Pulju, but I think Nuge is another who will benefit.

He a quality winger defensively, and he can take F/O's. Plus he plays a smart cerebal game on offence, all elements that go well with RNH.

I'm liking the ring of a Jokinen-RNH-Puljujarvi line.
