Somewhat related, I read that the Patriots back in the late 60s had deal to build a new doomed stadium at South Station. They got the Bruins and Celtics on board, who were going to get a new arena there and leave the Garden, but at the last minute the Bruins said no because they did not want to give up their priority scheduling arrangement. You ever heard of that Fenway?

Somewhat related, #2, I read back in the early 60s the Patriots were all set to build a multi-use stadium to share with the Red Sox in Walpole. However, it had to remain top secret until everything was finalized, but somebody with the Pats blew the cover, a shotshow ensured, and the Sox stayed put.
