Kovacevic for me as I really like his all around game. His production in college was impressive and he carried Stanley in the prospect scrimmage.

very nice to Stanley "anchor" (don't mean the Mark Stuart way) the top 10.

Could really see Foley jumping up this list next season if he continues to progress as he has to this point. Going with him here!

Kovacevic. Sure, he's an overager, but I think it's unlikely that either Stanley or Green has a better draft+2 season.

It's easy enough for me to comes to terms with ranking similar positional players, forwards and defense. It's slotting them together that poses the challenge for me.
That being said it was between Foley and Kovacevic here for me.

Kovacevic. This is where we could definitely see Stanley win based on how split the rest of the fan base is.

Kovacevic. Gonna go out on a limb and suggest Kovacevic plays in the NHL before Stanley or Green.

I do think Stanley and Green have more upside, but I'm not confident that either will play any time soon - if ever.

Lemieux had a bad year last year but still give him the nod over Stanley

I don't either should be even close to being considered at this point. I'll pick longshots with upside than longshots with fringe player upside.

Before Stanley:
Foley
Green
Kovacevic
Virtanen
Lemieux/Stanley tie
I could list a couple more but I'm not going for hyperbole here.

Nogier should be next. Top winning % in nhl for players with 10 games or more. 8-2. I love super advanced stats.

Since nobody asked , here are my top 20 rankings:

1. Connor
2. Roslovic
3. Vesalainen
4. Niku - already getting into lottery ticket territory, I like Niku best of all the tickets
5. Samberg
6. Spacek
7. Poolman - converted from non-believer to kinda believer
8. Comrie
9. De Leo - if more than a scattered few that I've ranked below become more impactful pros than De Leo, we've done pretty damn good in the recent drafting department
10. Lemieux
11. Kovacevic - fully admit he's risen based on his PCS and my brief viewing at the prospect tourney; my new boi
12. Green
13. Foley
14. Harkins - still a non-believer
15. Nogier
16. Gawanke
17. Stanley - ranking him based on my view of his ability, will likely be given lots of chances by virtue of his draft pedigree
18. Appleton - interested to see what he does next season, he really could've benefited from another year in college
19. Virtanen
20. Lipon - debated putting Berdin (voodoo) or Kraskovsky (mysterious) here

Looking at this as one of our weakest prospects crops in the last few years, probably a lot closer to what we had in 2013 or even perhaps 2012.

I'm really intrigued by Virtanen, so I've got him really high.

I'm nervous about Comrie, so I've got him quite low.

I also like De Leo. I think he could be a useful bottom 6 player, but I don't think he'll play here - at least under Maurice.

Virtanen is a nifty prospect, and I could see him shooting up my rankings at this time next year. Just not sure what to make of his skating and how his skills will translate at the pro level.

I'm ranking Comrie based on his junior pedigree and little else. He hasn't been a disaster as a pro, but isn't even close to playing in the show. Hoping he steps it up big next season.

It seems like people are forgetting that De Leo is only 21 and has been scoring at a 0.5 PPG clip in the AHL. Ranking him in the teens (he's probably going to wind up at #15 or so) seems like an overly generous appraisal of our prospect pool, and heavy weighting of ceiling over likelihood.
