Top 3 Jets for shootout

The game is going to a shootout and it is the last game of the regular season. We need two points to get into the playoffs...one point won't help.
Which are your three players to shoot in the shootout and in which order?
Mine are...

Armia
Connor
Laine

I know they are young but I think they give us the best chance.

Doesn't matter. NHL coaches let their big guns shoot anyway - no matter of puck handling and dangling and what not skills.

Scheifele
wheeler
Little/Laine

Are gonna a be the shooters on most days

I would take a page from the Mike O'Shea playbook, put out our three hardest shooters and have them all unload from centre ice.

I think Petan would be pretty good in the shootout.

I'd choose though Wheeler, Little and Perreault.

Scheifele relies on the wrister too much.

To soon to say how Connor will do but by all appearances so far he looks like a good bet.

Scheif - his wrister works.
Connor - until we see that he is not ready.
Laine - his one move works. Maybe when they stop it he has another.

Correct me if I am mistaken but aren't they going to the rule allowing using the same shooter multiple times this year? That is, after the first 3.

I was going to say Petan but am unsure if he is going to be on the team this year so I put in Petan.
Maurice used Laine at 2nd for every shootout last season iirc and he was in 2nd spot every time iirc. This year I think Laine bats cleanup in 3rd spot. Maurice also said Armia was about to go in when the Jets won their last shootout. The move Armia put on Price last year gave him a shot in the next shootout if you ask me...Price is still looking at the replay wondering what happened...
Connor has some slick moves on the shootout/breakaway from what I have seen.
Of course we always have Little, Wheeler, Scheifele, MP, Ehlers and who knows what Buff might be like on a breakaway? Certainly better than Drew???

Laine - guys got the best hands on the team(IMO) and his one move works really well(doesn't work as well on smart Vet goalies), just hope he has a couple more.

Wheeler - I think he's got the 2nd best hands and has the clutch gene

Scheifele/Ehlers - pick your poison? The guy with the shot or the guy with the moves? I'm inclined to go with Scheifele cause he's just overall better.

Anyone remember the time wheeler put the moves on Fasth so hard that Fasth pulled his groin? Or when Machooo won the shootout for us with a broken stick?

Laine has definitely even two other moves that he can use quite efficiently. He used in FEL with success the same move that Aho scored twice with last season in the NHL. But why change too often the move that he has used so far, unless it stops working? I'm pretty sure though that he will occasionally use his other good moves, just to make the goalies uncertain and hesitate just that much, that it is easier to succeed with his signature move.

Oh, and my trio would be:

Armia
Laine
Scheifele

Maybe after a while Connor could be useful in shootouts? But he will need to prove his goal scoring talent and moves in the NHL first.

We lack some real high end danglers. Our scorers are more pure shot guys. Ehlers is probably the best stickhandler of the bunch.

laine is as high end of a dangler as you will find. ehlers is a good stickhandler but he is nowhere near laine

he has the best hands in the league IMO

Laine is really good but I find his more methodical and high end hand eye coordination than quick and precise on the ice. Kane's hands are probably bar none the best in the league right now I'd say. Laine could develop those mitts further though.

A lot of Armia love. I mean, he did undress Price, so he deserves to go in the top 5

Armia is arguably the best with the puck on the team.
He undressed a few D men and forwards last year too.

i think people may underrate his hands because of this. laine's are extremely fast even though at times it may not seem like it, they're just that smooth. he doesn't go all out all the time, only when he needs to pull the puck around or away from guys. it's more deceptive that way. but it's not all about speed anyway. laine just handles the puck the best all around imo, never seen anyone else like it. so much control and precision

He is sometimes prone to pulling off that one between the legs move that most often goes nowhere. It's even worse when he does it going up the left side because he basically just takes himself into the corner. He needs to incorporate some moves that actually open up space into his repertoire. he has the skill.

Laine has such a fast, accurate shot, it might be smarter for him to shoot sometimes to keep the goalies honest.

Idk man McDavid does it much faster than Kane(maybe not as eye popping because he's doing it so fast), Kanes probably the smoothest and most skilled stick handler but McDavids stick looks like a machine gun out there. I think if Laine can make up a couple new moves and decide for the right time to use them then he might be in the conversation with Kane.
