Mike Modano (9), shown celebrating a game-winning shootout goal against the Red Wings in January, missed Saturday's game against the Kings because of "a little bit of soreness" in one of his knees.Saturday night in Los Angeles, the Stars were as short-handed as they have been at any point this season with both Mike Modano and Sergei Zubov out with injuries.
Numerology: The Stars' magic number to clinch the Pacific Division is four points, meaning a win would allow Dallas to wrap things up with one more win or an Anaheim loss.
Who's in the lineup? Mike Modano could miss another game due to injury, but Sergei Zubov is likely to return.
