Playoff Beards.....

If and I do say if, the habs make the playoffs, do you think they'll bring back the Fu Manchu?!

That was sweet in 2003-2004......

You better believe I'm doing the exam + playoffs Fu Manchu. Or whatever the Habs decide to do this year.

Forget about the Fu Manchu. I want the old goal song back. I'm hoping beyond hope that when that first playoff goal goes in, we hear it again.

If we make the playoff, I will grow a beard...and I will look just like Ribeiro

But who cares anyways...it's a playoff beard.

I grow a beard everytime we have a streak going... Needless to say this is probably the longest of the year. And when playoffs start... it's another story.

About a year ago, I decided not to cut my hair until the habs win a Stanley Cup. I stand by it. My hair is now shoulder length, let's see how long it gets.

I'd actually been single for a couple of years until I started growing my hair. Since then, girls have been complimenting my long hair and I've been with this girl for about 2 months.

I've been growing a goatee since the end of February. Oddly enough, their play started to improve around that time. Think I'll keep it ... for now.

I thought you've only been watching hockey for about 2 weeks now?

"va te faire couper les cheveux esti d'pouilleux!"

(when i was at the Flyers vs habs game earlier in the season, someone yelled that out from the stands at Handzus. that was hilarious)

No, 1 month. After trolling a hockey board for 3 years now, I had to know what I was trolling about.

Hmmm, glad that it works for you. I've been growing my goatee for years and my hair since well before the turn of the century. Habs weren't up to much back then. Maybe thats because i've trimmed it back in the past and negated any positive effect. Must remember not to do that again in the future

I've got a full playoff style beard going right now actually. Assuming we make the playoffs, not sure if it needs to be shaved and started again or keep it going. If only Bob could put out a PR after the season with the teams plans for facial hair over the next few months, i could get a head start.

EDIT - talking about playoff beards brings along post # 1993. Is this a sign (of anything other than me needing to find something else to do with my time?)
