Cryin' Ryan

Check out today's Tennessean.....a few weeks ago Trotz made a mention in the press about when a player is scratched, that he should come back with a good attitude in reference to suter and Weber vying for the 6th defensive slot...it implied Ryan was taking it a little hard...now today's artiicle puts it out front and center.

Is Suter acting like a primadonna here, just immature, or is this the way a kid is supposed to act?

Your thoughts?

I think Ryan's acting his age. He is only 21. I remember some of our "young" ones acting about the same about being benched.

I read the article as Ryan learned from his earlier healthy scratch and acknowledges that he was in the wrong. It's still difficult to not be playing but he understands better now.

I think Ryan will step up his game and make it difficult to bench him.

**at least I hope so**

If it was a really big issue, he'd be in Milwaukee right now. I think he just expressed some displeasure and has learned from it. I think it was more of an issue 30 games ago than today.

I find it very odd it hit the press today....coincidence.....I seriously doubt it.

I noticed that the article was not by John Glennon but Paul Kuharsky. John is the normal Preds beat writer. I'm not too thrilled with Koharski's articles. They always seem to be on the slightly negative side (IMNOHO).

I think this article is relevant now because we have 8 healthy defensemen, and it is trying to say that although tough....our guys are going to deal with it better than they had been previously.
