Looked like his left knee bent inward farther than it should. He put no weight on it and took a while to get off the ice despite the fact he was right in front of the bench when he went down.

crap this isn't good. two weeks would be fine but any longer and we're in trouble. J-Rad on Fox Sports said Mo obviously won't be returning to the game and that Ralph/Razor would have more info.

He also said that Nashville moved into the third seed and would play the number six seed if the season ended today, because they passed Calgary. I'm not sure exactly how seriously to take his hockey coverage after that. I'd still rather listen to him than Renner, though.

Anything more than a sprain to Modano's knee puts him out into the playoffs. Just exactly the only thing the Stars cared about for the rest of the season... perfect.

LoL yes i saw they had nashville in third. but fact is ralph/razor said exactly what rad said which is Mo is not coming back this game (we could have already guessed that though).

I just saw the replay and I'm very concerned. That looked painful ...

Welp, Stars win the game, but that might be it for our playoff hopes.

I'm pretty sure this is the first time in NHL history that four different Finnish players have all scored for the same team in the same game.

And now we all wait to hear the severity of Modano's injury.

I kind of wanted revenge after the shootout tie/loss, but the taste is bittersweet tonight. Argh.

We clinch the Pacific Division, though.

This could be the most bittersweet win ever.

I would've rather lost and had Modano be ok. This frickin sucks.

Some good news..hopefully...

Specifically:

Quote:
"Mike tweaked an old injury and it looked worse than it was," said Tippett. "He plans on skating tomorrow so he should be fine. When any player goes down, you get scared but he looked fine walking out of here and seemed fine. I spoke to him afterwards and there's not much to evaluate. We won't take any chances with him."

It was bittersweet, I just hope this report holds up and that Mo gets back for the playoffs, he should really rest.

Glad Marty played so well, he stole that game for us, did you see him on the Post game show, he is so classy. He wouldn't take credit for the game said it was a great win for the guys!

Way to go Fins!
