Dallas's alternated was "retired" after the game vs. San Jose.
Am I the only one sad to see it go? To be honest, I thought they looked pretty good! Of course, the joke up here in Toronto was that Dallas had become the Dallas Ovaries, a joke I still hear whenever I wear the Modano jersey I got for Christmas last year.
I'm aware that the reception of these jerseys amongst Stars fans was far from spectacular, but I was a fan of them, and I'll continue to wear mine!

I liked them. Then they got ripped on enough that i learned to hate them because thats all people would talk about. The logo, while it does resemble a reproductive symbol, is actually just a few tweaks away from being pretty nice. The layout of the jersey itself is actually quite nice and i hope any future third jersey they have uses a similar layout. As for the red, I didnt mind it, but it seemed alot of people were all up in arms about it.
So anyway i say use the same jersey layout, replace the red with gold or white, and come up with a nice clean logo (not the texas shoulder logo) and call it the new third.
Nah there are others that liked them, I was not one of them. It was a mess of a jersey IMO and putting red on them was one of the biggest mistakes. Now that they are done with them it is interesting to hear so many people in the Stars Organization also come out and say how much they hated them and are glad they are gone. And the designers and the ones who approved the jersey were fired. Lites joked in the DMN that he was glad he was not responsible for them!
the third jersey wasn't that bad. I mean, the idea with the bull head is fine, but it should have looked a bit more, let's just say, realistic. And the red just didn't fit in there, oh no.
Anyway, I think your jerseys would look even better if they had the same colors as the Dallas Cowboys, navy and silver instead of hunter green and gold. Don't get me wrong, the green and gold looks fine and the star-shaped jersey scheme is cool, but at the same time the colors remind me of a park ranger's uniform...
to me they looked better in person. i like them in person. now that could be cause i was sitting up at the top and dont see them up close like you do on TV
