Seattle sends Tramaine Brock to the Vikings like six days after signing him. Guess that means Jeremy Lane stays on board here.

I want the NFL Network to update their Top 10 Worst FA list to get in Brock. $72 million dollar contract to cut by the goddamn Browns in one year. We must recognize this achievement.

Has his game fallen off suddenly or something? Hasn't he been a pretty consistent top safety for several years?

He doesn't appear to have ability to play anymore , Also he seems banged up and walks off gimpy every practice/game it feels like this summer

Bears just lost Meredith for year and they still didn't see reason to keep Curz on roster. Says enough

TJ Ward - its mostly about money but there are some folks saying that his coverage skills have diminished.

I think it's a combination of money and the Broncos took 2 safeties last year that have really panned out well.

If TJ agrees to a cut in pay he could possibly stay. Some are saying this is posturing for a "haircut".

He had 1 year left on his deal.

They really could not trade him?

Shaw is too fragile. Too bad. He could have been a fine NFL backup QB if he didn't get hurt every other time he put on a uniform.

Why give up an asset when its very likely he'll be a free agent?

Guys informed by Bears they are released/waived

QB Connor Shaw
K Rorberto Aguayo (Cut)
CB Harold Jones-Quartey (Waivers)
DL Rashaad Coward (Waivers)
RB Deandre-Houston-Carson (Waivers)
RB Josh Rounds (Waivers)
WR Tanner Gentry (Waivers)
OL Cyril Richardson (Waivers)
OL Will Poehls (Waivers)
OL Dieugot Joseph (Waivers)
OL Brandon Greene (Waivers)
DE Jaye Howard (Contract terminated)
LB Jonathan Anderson (Waivers)
LB Isaiah Irving (Waivers)
LB Dan Skuta (Sounds like he is cut)

Other moves

LB Pernell McPhee taken of PUP list
LB Lamar Houston placed on IIR (Bears likely will work out injury settlement and cut him)
G Jordan Morgan placed on IR
RB Ka'Deem Carey to IR (Not short term , Bears likely come to injury settlement and cut him later)

Lamar Houston has gotta be one of the biggest FA busts in recent Chicago memory. Only memory most fans will have of him is getting injured while celebrating after meaningless sack in blowout game

Sounds like Mark Sanchez will make team and Bears will carry 3 QB's

I'm not horribly upset about Osweiler - I think he's gotten somewhat of a bad rap. I do think he's turned into somewhat of a petulant child though and that needs to be addressed.

I am more furious that they cut Kyle Sloter to bring Osweiler in. Sloter showed the most promise out of any QB the Broncos had in camp.

I still am a pretty big believer that Chad Kelly will be our starting QB in 2018 after everything is said and done. And I think Denver will pick up another QB in the draft next year as well.

I wasn't mad at him, I think he screwed himself taking Houston's offer and he's not bad as a backup option particularly for the Broncos.

I'm keeping my fingers crossed about Sloter not getting picked up.
