Not only did his play not live up to his contract but he's also a jackass.

Reuben Foster should be arrested for poaching The Rhino. Blew him up in the Vikes/Niners game and now he's cut.

Patriots picking up Marsh for peanuts is a low key good deal. He gives them some speed and length.

Still can't believe Sf got him where they did. Or that Sea made the trade with them so they could.

How do you cut Kasen Williams after the preseason he had? This is BS.

5 receptions for 89 yds and 1 TD in preseason

NFL career thru 2 years

1 reception for 8 yds

I don't see what is so outrageous here? Does he play special teams well? Are there better options then him to play bigger role on team?

A good preseason doesn't tell entire story and as of this point there is really nothing of an NFL career to say that this is at all a controversial move nor was he a standout in college

Outside of Richard Sherman being upset his friend was cut this wouldn't be news

Claimed by the Browns, too.

Saints added Austin Carr, WR who was at Patriots camp, and Taysom Hill, the QB from BYU who was with the Packers.

A stat line doesn't tell the entire story, either.

He's lengthy, can out-leap damn near anyone and was just one of those preseason darlings that you hate to see go. Particularly when from the local program. He got snatched up quickly enough...

And yet he didn't do much to standout in college nor earn a roster spot with Bengals or do anything with Seahawks over last 2 years.

I get it everyone loves a preseason darling and every year fans fall in love with a guy who is just that who really has no future when playing NFL starting talent for 16 weeks

Kasen Williams is interesting. I bet Hue gets some use out of him.

Hue was offensive coordinator when he was in Bengals camp in 2015

I'm sure Seattle wanted to keep him but they probably don't plan on dressing more than 4 receivers on game day. You only have 46 active spots for a game. Which isn't much. So a lot of talented players get cut.

Those Jets/Bills games will be a hoot with both teams trying to lose. Could have our first scoreless tie since 1943. They even get a Thursday Night game against each other so we can all watch the aristocrats.

Saints bring former BC Lion Adam Bighill back to camp on their practice squad. Some players are on the practice squad because you need a practice squad. I think they believe in him.

That's true. Being mad was a bit knee-jerk on my part, as I drank my first cup of coffee and read my twitter feed this morning. If they kept McKissic and McEvoy over him I guess there must be a reason.

And he'll have every opportunity to play. Coleman is the only receiver who has earned playing time.

46 active for game day (your #3 QB can dress without eating one of those spots, but he has to be part of the 53 man group).

So, on game day, you subtract the K, P, and LS to get to 43 players. 22 starters, so you barely have 1 backup per position.

On a 3 WR set base, teams need to figure out what they need to have during a game.

2 QB and 4 RB - 6 spots
3 TE and 5 WR - 8 spots
8 OL
Total for O is 22.

On D, you would need 8 guys in the secondary. 7-8 DL and 5-6 LB (LBs are key on special teams). That's 21 players.

Williams, I thought would have made the 53 man roster as WR #6.

Baldwin, Lockett, Richardson, plus the kid from Michigan in round 3. I do believe that they lack that big 6'3 210 LB WR who can win a jump ball. McAvoy has the height, but not the athletic ability.

Uh they have Jimmy Graham for that. Nearly impossible to stop on jump balls.
