Roy Sommer.

Now that we've got a few posters from Cleveland, maybe we could start a discussion about Roy Sommer. What do you think of him as a coach? What are his major strengths? Weaknesses? How does he handle the players? How do the players feel about him?

This one might shed some light on the guy that I'd like to be SJ's next head coach.

Just some observation from a poster who isn't as close to the things as most of you guys: Could my perception be true that those prospects who spent some time in the AHL with Sommer usually fullfilled their potential much more than the guys who more or less jumped to the big team (and therefore Sutter) directly (Rathje, Marleau, ...)? And if yes, could that be because of the coach, or just because of the league?
