Where's the GDT?

3-1 Flames.

6:19 into the second. Turco pulled.

Go Flames!

edit: wave.

Go Flames is right. The Ducks will be tied for first in the Pacific if Calgary wins.. of course the Ducks will have played one more than Dallas, two more than Phoenix and three more than LA but I don't care. 1st is 1st!

Nice game by the Flames' goaltender; it's his first NHL game. I still remember Alex Auld's first NHL game for the 'Nucks against the Stars and he did great too. I think the game ended up something like 4-0 'Nucks.

Huh? How do you figure that? The Kings still have more wins than the Ducks do, and thus the tiebreaker.

Dallas: 5-4
Anaheim: 4-5-1-1
Phoenix: 3-3-3
LA: 4-4
San Jose: who cares

Penalty coming up for Oliwa... goaltender interference. I smell a goal coming on here.

Is this because Pierre Maguire mentions him so much or because you are misinformed?

Well then the Ducks have played more games than my Kings then. And you know what I'm just going to drop the entire subject after this post, because I'm sick and tired of all of the Duck vs Kings threads being shut down.

Nah, it just means that you guys have a healthy rivalry; kinda like the 'Nucks and the 'Avs.

I'm not totally sure about that. I'm still trying to figure out whether it's the fans respective ages or just hard headedness.

Anyway, this intermission has taken sooo long... Ooo games back on.

There are a few reasons for it.

1. Age has a lot to do with it.. a lot of Kings posters on the internet irritate the hell out of me of course I'm sure I do the same to them. To be fair, there are a lot of good posters on here and LGK but there are some really irritating ones also.

2. Geographic proximity.. with how close the teams are the fans are very close also. With a lot of Kings fans in Orange County, I see them (and talk trash with them) all the time. Some of my best friends are Kings fans and if I lived in LA county I probbaly would be also but I root for the home team.

I personally like the rivalry.. it's fun for me.

I totally agree with you Vishi but you should agree with me that Ducks fans aren't completely blameless. I know that you are closer to my age, so therefore we can discuss things frankly, but I guess that doesn't really apply to the maturity level of other fans.

Without Guerin, this team would have been 2-6, he has carried the team through the last 2 weeks with Lehtinen out as Modano has seriously ben inconsistant, he looks lazy and I don't have much faith in him putting together an effective and productive season.

Though the Arnott, Modano, Guerin line looks pretty damn dominate now..

Who's Sabourin? For an unknown goalie, he impresses.. hell, he outplayed the Vezina runner up of last season, who btw isn't having a pretty season either.

Lehtinen really is the "glue guy" for the Dallas Stars isn't he.

Something like that, he's among the worst slowstarters in the NHL, but he's just doesn't seem interested in the game anymore, he's already stated that he doesn't play hockey because he enjoys it but because he haves to or something like that. He's beginning to look A LOT like Sergei Fedorov in terms of attitude towards the game. Such a shame, he has all the skills in the world to take home some hardware, oh well, here's hoping the true MVP in Lehts returns anytime soon.

Also, I missed the first, how were the fights?
