Lundqvist's status?

I thought it was odd there wasn't a thread on it's own about this already (unless I missed it, and the GDT doesn't count!).

Whats the ETA on Lundqvist's return? Is it a serious injury which would jeopardize him starting the playoffs? Day-to-day? Or are they just resting him up for the last few games of the season?

I think Lundqvist could end up playing tomorrow against the Devils but they may just ride Weekes until he loses. Lundqvist is probably close to 100% but not quite.

I was watching MSG last night and Renney said he'll sit him out as long as he needs to get to 100% or something along those lines.

There was an interview with him on Swedish Television tonight, he wont start tomorrow but he thinks he will be in net on tuesday.
He did not sound that optimistic though.

No, sounded like it hurt alot. Better too be safe then sorry and maybe rest him a little longer so he's ok before the playoffs.

i think they said today that he feels about 90%. If he doesn't play tomorrow and he's not 100% i think they should start Kevin again against the Isles on Tuesday.

No need to rush him at all. If hes not feeling 100% then don't even dress him IMO.

Since the rangers won today and philly lost. With a 5pt cushion with 5 games to go, what the hell, rest Lunds. Weekes has been hot for us anyway. Lets ride it out. A healthy and rested Lundqvist would be nice for the playoffs too.

Only con, i have lunds on my fantasy team and i really need him.
