Forgive me

As you can probably tell from my post count, I use to be a regular here. I haven't posted with any regularity in ages, or visited much actualy. I was just wondering what the story is behind potatoes in all of the avatars... could anyone be so kind to fill me in?

Sure.
We'll all start about 2 weeks ago when Downey bring potato bag to Habs pratice and give one bag to each player (+ gainey, carbo, and all the staff)

Right after this, Habs go in a hot streak, 7 win in a row. And now we think potato is MAGIC and we put them in our Drive for 25 avatar like a Fer de cheval or trèfle a quatre feuilles

The Mighty Pretzel is our Holy Grail, and it is guarded by our faithful monk known as mcphee.

The potatoes are mere lucky charms compared to the Pretzel, but it is still important to the success of the team.

Ah...thank you for the enlightenment.

Perosonally...I think a Potato...especially given by Downey would definately "one punch" a pretzel hands down.

But that's the one of the blessings for free religion. You can choose what to belive in.

***watches as the poor sens fan backs into a corner...suddenly, a hab fan from above leaps and sinks his teeth into the poor thing's arm! The sens fan thrashes about to try and escape, but it's already too late! By the next full moon, he'll be a Hab fan....***
