GDT: vs Sens

I try to be optimistic but for some reason I do believe we are in for another long game of getting pushed around and playing catch up.

Well I will try to look on the bright side.

hopefully it will be 2-1 Ottawa as i bought tix to go see Luongo. Thankfully you got rid of Hurme because he played both games I went to last year(both one goal games and one overtime if I recall correctly). Superstar goalie in the making, that Luongo. Will be Canada's Olympic goalie someday.

Lucky you! Keenan was on wqam (local radio) and said Shields will be in net tonight. :p

Well, he could be in luck...Keenan does sometimes lie to throw the opposition off. Sometimes. Maybe.

...or maybe Keenan will pull Shields after one or two get past him.

That first goal last night was a weak one. Luongo should of easily had it. OTOH I was impressed with Shields' effort, but is it me or does he go down waaay too soon?

I predict a Panthers win tonight. They should be embarressed about the game last night, and come out like gun slingers.

the thing is, this team is so damn inconsistent.
they'll win against Atlanta and New Jersey.
then play like AHL rejects against Min and PHI

This is absolutely ridiculous....Why is Steve Sheilds starting...?

Luongo only played like 10 minutes yesterday and celariyl he's your number one this is bull %$W%.....

If we have any chacne you've got to ride Lunogo huge look at his numbers he's un real....

Yeah, the only way to fix his mental game is to play him as much as possible and try to get his confidence back.

Even though were up 1-0..

I dont see the panthers hanging around much longer, this senators team is playing like the panthers made fun of their mothers...

Instead of looking like we have one 18 year old, this panther team looks like we have 12.. 18 year olds out there against the much more physical senators... when will the panthers ever grow up that much to look like that team.. do you think we have the players in the organization to ever amount to it?

Somehow, this reads even worse after a hard fought Cats come from behind win.

In defense of Jack...

I feel the same way on a different level, even though im a panthers fan, im still a realist...

Yes they came back and won tonite but you know as well as I do... Is this team going to show up the next game and the game after that?

Or are they going back into their shell only to come out when Keenan has to remind their butts to play and hit and shot?

Great win though, surprised me big time... good to finally see byron ritchie trying to get back on track

That was a great, hard fought, close checking road win. Van Ryn is just something special!! Hagman (along with several others) worked his tail off. Shields stood on his head to keep us in it, especially early. I'll take that kinda effort every night.

Good job guys! Way to bounce back!!

The boys played very hard last night....give them some credit!

And for all the Shields detractors...that save against Havlat was a big time big league save!!!
