Another quick 2-0 lead, let's hope the game goes the same way as the game against Florida.

Gagne really showed his speed on that one, but in Stevens defense the ice looks and sounds pretty bad out there, I'm sure that had something to do with the errant pass.

Once again Philly is not losing focus, our top line is generating some good chances, let's keep it going for 40 more minutes. I can't stand to see these penalties though, scary as hell!

Good fight by Fridge! Something needed to give soon. Luckily it was Stevenson's face. The team was looking a little flat this period, hopefully it'll get some juice in them too.

Well, it's official. I've seen my first atrocious call of the year. The call on Pitkanen for roughing against Langenbrunner (presumably for hitting Jamie's stick with his body) was absolutely terrible. Just horrible.

Gagne just got laid out big time. Hopefully he was just trying to sell it and draw a penalty.

time to capitalize on this triopping call, we need a goal going into the 3rd, thatw ould be sweet, we usually have a great last period with the lead.

ANOTHER joke penalty. How do you call an interference penalty when the player being interfered takes it down the ice on a breakaway and nearly scores? This is a total joke.

Easy. Give the puck to Amonte.

He most certainly was. Screens like that happen though.

Since when does a player take a double-fisted punch to the face and get the only penalty, what a joke. The call on Weinrich was also bad, Gionta should go to Guliard.
