4/11/06 - Scoreboard

Avs over Yotes: 6 - 1 (3rd period) FINAL - 6-4.
Wild over Hawks 2-0
Preds over Blues: 2-0
(I have to ask - does anyone else feel bad for the loss of Vokoun? I prefer to see a team go down without a key member being out. Personally, I think that Vokoun's loss sucks for the Preds)
Wing over Oil: 2-0
Flames over Ducks 3-0 (3rd period) FINAL - Kippers 9th SO of the year.

That is one Kings-esque freak injury to Vokoun.

True. Because of the Kings, I honestly HATE to see a team possibly sink because of a key injury. With Vokoun, the Preds had a great chance. Now, it remains to be seem what will happen with them in the post season.

I've been gone for the past week, so I haven't really been paying attention: Is Vokoun's injury only keeping him out the last for games, or is it for the entire playoffs?

Ouch. That's not fair at all. I definitely feel bad for the Predators on that one.

Just in case you don't know, he's got some kind of blood disorder that appartently causes excessive clotting throughout the body.

Personally I think that the Ducks were going to win this series Vokoun or not... now it's just that much easier.

Vancouver has San Jose thursday?

And Anaheim has Edmonton?

Personally, I see Vancouver definitley losing 2/3. Edmonton having to win just once scares me. Also, the Kings winning 3 in a row scares me.

Have I already stated this in another thread?

Edm. doesn't even have to win...they just need a point.

If they are going to get it, I think Colorado is where it's going to happen.

Meanwhile, I sit and continue to pray that Tampa Bay folds like a lawn chair. Atlanta would be such a playoff threat if they could make it in...
