Snap shots
Peter Forsberg skated again yesterday and appears to be ready to play tonight. But that decision will come after this morning's skate.
"We're not going to put him in unless he's 100 percent," Hitchcock said.

"If he's 100 after today, we'll let him go at it tomorrow, but if he's not, we'll wait until Saturday"... Robert Esche will be in net for the fifth time in the last six games.

As far as hating the Devils, sure. But as far as this being a big game, meh. We've probably already lost the Atlantic, which means we lost home ice, and the difference between playing the Rangers or Buffalo is not enough to get worked up over.

Hate is a strong word, maybe dislike.

win out and the division is ours... and given that we should be showing up for the next three games at the very least, that isn't that far-fetched. not that it will be easy.

more to the point, this game is huge because this team HAS to start to string together some consistent efforts... i don't care about the seeding (since if this team plays there best i think we can beat anyone in the EAST), but i do want to start to see some constant effort throughout the games... if they get that, then the wins will follow.

Yet another "Most Important Game of the Year". Rags play tonight too. If we win and the Rags lose again then we will be a point behind with a game in hand and the head to head on Saterday And with the Rags playing Ottawa.

Just wish we didnt have to play the second hottest team in the NHL . (Did you guys know Detroit hasnt lost in reuglation in 17 games! Must be something in the water[Pistons]).

LETS GO FLYERS!!!!!

Shut Em down Esche

Plus Foppa is back and we all know what he is like when he is rested

I think that Detroit's recent gaudy record may be slightly decieving. Remember that the NHL schedule this year was heavily backloaded with Divisional games. Look at their division.

Either way, 3-1 Flyers
Gange - Umber - Pitts

They are, kind of. Though it's not yet working good enough for me to make the GDT's as they were in the 1st half of the season.

I have the same feeling. This is going to be a real tough game to win, but we seem to play better on the road.

yup, that and that alone is why they will win the presidents trophy. I think Carolina, Us, and Ottawa all have more talent. there good but not as good as there doing.

According to Brian Savage on Daily News Live,Forsbergs out again tonight, wasn't feeling quite ready.

Brian Savage will be on a line with Richards and Kapenen.

What a waste of talent.

Why can't Hitch stick with the lines he had before and just fill Richards in for Forsberg until he's back? Brash-Richie-Kaps was an awesome line.
