I don't think so. Kovalev said he wanted to stay witht the same linemates to keep the chamestry. I suppose the Habs will stick to those lines with minor changes with injured players coming back. Unless we start falling like 3-1 in the series where we could see some lines changes...but that won't happen .
Assuming everybody's healthy, that's what I'd like to see. Not perfect, but IMO the best and most balanced lineup we can ice at this time of year taking into account chemistry, hot streaks and experience, which is usually a big factor in the playoffs.
Although I do not hold either of Zednik and Bulis in high estime, I feel the fact they started clicking with their linemates and scoring at this opportune time, on top of being vets, means to me, Perezhogin is the odd man out. His lack of production combined with his lack of experience means he'd have to sit until someone else falters.
I honestly think Downey is the guy to sit in the pressbox come playoff time, assuming everyone is healthy. The only reason we got him in the first place is he shoots right, and no one else on the team does, except Ryder. That's his only qualification. He's a 4th line guy that can't kill penalties and has no real talent. Works his tail off, but that's not enough for the playoffs.
I know everyone loves the guy, and he gave out potatoes or something, but there's no room for him in the lineup.
