Go Stars!

This is coming from a lifetime Philly fan who considers the Stars his second favorite team. Just voicing some support.

I hope we meet in the Finals. You guys could definitely get there, may be a little bit harder for us.

I think a Stars-Flyers final would be pretty cool...Modano, Zubov and Lehtinen vs. Hitch and Hatch, the 5 remaining participants from back in 1999

To Stars fans: Who do you want to face in the first round? I think Anaheim would be a tougher test than Colorado, as the Avs are still breaking in their newly acquired Theodore, and Dallas has fared well against them this season and in past playoff matchups (aside from our last meeting )

Colorado. No question about it.

While both teams, seem to be struggling, I much rather face a team like Colorado who is beat up and who's goaltending isn't at the top.

If Colorado plays anything like they did vs the Nucks tonight,...well BRING THE AVS ON!!

Plus, I want to see a 7 game series where every game goes to overtime between Calgary and Anaheim LOL.

After watching the Avs/Canucks game last night, I'm down for playing the Avs in the first round. I have more confidence in the Stars this time around against them then I did last time we played them.

This could well be like that Wings/Avs game a few years ago where there were no penalties called. Similar set up -- late in the season, seeds pretty much locked. Think that was the last penalty-less game in the NHL.

Frankly, I think both teams should just agree to play Swedes v. Finns. They'd have to let us fudge a little with Hedberg.

1-0?

Is it really the rule that as soon as he thinks about blowing the whistle its dead? Thats weak if so. should be 2-0.

End of the 1st Period
Your Dallas Stars: 1
The Detroit Red Wings: 0

This is a some bull crap. Two quick whistles, both costing us a goal and/or scoring chance. Stars lead it 1-0 after 1.

Wow. I'm a wings fan and a legace fan and even I think that goal should have counted. That was obviously in, and the fact that the ref blew the whistle so early is just rediculous. It should be 2-0 DAL.

Even the fact he blew it didnt matter the puck was in before the whistle still. unless i just heard an extra whistle late.

they said something about the ref in the motion of putting the whistle in mouth and about to blow the whistle. Even though the whistle was heard after it was in.
Not much to worry about, stars played well, that's all we can ask for.

disallowed.

i couldnt really see who tipped it last but morrow was at the net as was barnes i think shot came then rebounded back to barnes i think who shot and one more rebound came back out and it was slid underneath legace. But the ref reached to blow the whistle before the second fat rebound and even though the puck crossed before the whistle they ruled no goal.

1st goal.

The just added assists for Morrow and Boucher on Arnott's goal. to answer a question from earlier. but originally they gave none.
