Is it possible that Gainey is so confident in Huet he is resting him and raring to go at the playoffs?

I can't believe that. I don't really follow his thinking regarding goalies right now, but I don't believe that.

I think it's ominous that Gainey is playing Aebischer instead of Huet. I wouldn't let my entire season hinge on the performance of a mediocrity like Aebischer, who has failed to post a shutout or even a one or two goal game for the Habs, instead of someone who has seven shutouts. But then again I'm not paid to make decisions like that, good or bad.

Has the starter for Tuesday been named yet? I'd be surprised if Huet does not get the nod. IMO the only way Aebischer plays is if Atlanta loses to Washington tonight.

If Atlanta loses, Huet, not Aebischer, should play against the Devils. Otherwise, he'd be rusty for the playoffs. Aebischer has had his tuneup.
