Good news for Habs : my girlfriend predicted a winning first round!

Hi there,

I just want to share something with you guys.
My girlfriend, 2 years ago, predicted every win of the Habs in playoffs. She predicted all the wins/losses for the Habs, she wasn't able to predict the score, but she knew if it was going to be a hard win, huge win.. etc...

Hopefully she's no Jojo Savard, or any other ****** clairvoyant. My girlfriend is 22, she's like any other girl... she knows nothing to hockey, and before every game of the series she tells me something like : Don't worry, they'll win tonight! It'll be a very tight win, but they'll win.

And she's right for every game of series since 2004 (vs. Boston, vs. Tampa)

It's more funny and sort of coincidences than esoteric, well I hope. Some people here think that my girlfriend is a true clairvoyant, that's wrong. I just want to share with people from this board that my g/f, never went wrong on Habs in series for 13 games... That's it.

She predicted a very easy win of the Habs on game 1.
She predicted a win in 2 OT on game 2 on a tough game for Montreal.

She predicted that Habs will win the round against Carolina, but they will lose in 2nd round.. very easy round for the opposite team.

If you want, I'll try to post every gameday the prediction of my girlfriend.

GO HABS GO!

Game 3 : I may not be able to reach my g/f before gametime, I have a final and she works until 8 PM. I'll won't be @ home for the game, so It'll be difficult for me to post something... I'll do my possible to reach her.

Now, we are in 2006.

GO HABS GO!
And that team in the second round will be the Buffalo Sabres.

If we're to play the Sabres, it means that the Sens AND the Devils will loose. I don't see the Devils loose, sincerely.

Not if Tampa beats Ottawa. Devils finished ahead of Buffalo and we finished ahead of Tampa

Yeah looks like we could only play Ottawa or Buffalo. Cause from what I see NJ and Buffalo are going to win so the only question mark is can Ottawa beat Tampa. If the can we play Ottawa if not we play Buffalo

I was thinking the exact same thing. If the Habs make it to the 2nd round sYn will have to dump his girlfriend if she doesn't change her prognostications.

Not good news but against Buffalo probably pretty realistic. IMO.

Did you miss the IF in most of the posts in this thread? Besides, if you weren't prone to making negative predictions maybe you'd have a leg to stand on telling the rest of us off.

Her predictions are game per game. As I wrote earlier, it seems that if they win the 1st round, they'll lose the 2nd easily. But again, it's day per day, game per game.

tomorrow, I'll post her prediction for the Habs game.
