Good luck guys against our former saviour.....

Obviously I don't have to tell you and your team this, but high glove side is the key....

Theo seemed to regain a certain quickness with his legs, something he didn't have with us all year, but the 5-hole is still a major problem for him and still has no glove whatsoever.

So, if your teams plays accordingly, shouldn't be a problem. If you keep aiming down low anything else than the 5-hole, you'll be in trouble.

And you should have no problem screening him as well, I think Robidas is tall enough to screen him....

It should be a better and tougher series than people expect, with the Stars obviously winning it in 6.

I'll go back to my board now, thinking who I want the Habs to play, Carolina or Ottawa.....

Please don't take this the wrong way, but I think this will this will be a lot closer of a series than most think. Under the old point system Dallas would have had only 99 points and 41 wins this season while Colorado would have had 92 points with 40 wins. Shows us all how really awesome Dallas is in shootouts. And the series between these two this year Avs win 1 Stars win 1 and Stars win 2 in shootout, So 4 very close games. I say this series goes 7 games, but not sure who will take it.

If you've been watching the Stars this season, you'd know that SO's arent the only reason they are where they are. This is getting about as tired as the "Well Detroit played in the Central division!" talk.

What will the lines be on night one? Will the all Finns be together? Modano/Lehtinen /Jokinen. Arnott- Morrow-? Ott- Guerin be on the 4th? Niniimaa will remain a scratch.

My bet is the following:

Jokinen - Modano - Lehtinen
Morrow - Arnott - Barnes
Hagman - Kapanen - Miettinen
Svoboda - Ott - Guerin

Zubov - Mitchell
Boucher - Robidas
Klemm - Daley

(Bottom 2 D-lines are interchangable)

That looks about right. Will Stu nab PP time or will Guerin take that PP2 time?

SO aren't the ONLY reason they are where they are, but it's certainly helped them. And good for them, SO's are part of the game now and they took advantage of it. They deserve to be where they are. But it is one thing they can't take with them to the playoffs, except for the advantages that being a higher seed will give them. That all being said, I still think Dallas will win the series.

Amen to that.

Either way you want to look at it, Dallas still got the wins..Colorado didn't. Just like Detroit got their wins while Dallas didn't and thats why they won the Conference.

Dallas totally outplayed, hussled, and obviously outscored the Avs the last time these two teams played and from the looks of it...Colorado has only gotten worse since that game.

I don't think the Stars will win with ease...we can't do that. But I do think Dallas takes it in 6.

the regular season is over so that does not much matter now You guys also have gotten worse as well if you want to go that route. We had few big injuries and were riding a rookie goaltender down the stretch which helped contribute to our overall record. Just over a week ago we were in first in our division. You'll probably win the series because of home ice but I love this new underdog role.

Please tell me the last time we've played our entire line up?

You guys have been fighting for your playoff spot and have continued to drop..while we've stayed in the same spot the entire year.

If Marty Turco plays well, the Stars will definately win. Theodore has not looked that great for the Avalanche and Dallas won't have to worry about a physical series, as the Avalanche have barely hit anyone in their last two games. I predict Stars in 5.
