Way to go Pens. Take down the Sound Kitties. Good luck in winning this series.

I'm really surprised at how much trouble the Pens are having with Bridgeport. I expected this series to go no more than 5 games with the Pens winning 2 at home, losing 1 on the road and winning game 5. I cannot believe that the Pens have not won any of the 3 games in WB/S.

Have the fans jumped ship? Only 6800 for a playoff game is a pretty small crowd for the Wachovia Arena, especially when it may have been their last game.

Don't be surprised at Bridgeport's success. Before the series they added Nilsson, Bergenheim, Colliton, Gervais, Tambellini, Grebeshkov, Regier, Caldwell from Long Island, O'Marra and Comeau from Juniors and Papineau from injury.

At this point the Sound Tigers can play with anybody in the league.

I knew this series would be a hard fought match and in the end, it took all seven games to decide the winner. Each game was only decided by one goal, which reflects how well each other matches up. I think the teams had good matches all through the regular season as well.

Bridgeport has a LOT of good Islander prospects, and perhaps in the end, maybe some of their inexperience cost them a little? Not that WBS is full of vets either, but they do have a nucleus and a few who have been here before. All I can say is am glad we scraped through, and that the Islanders have some good kids there. Thankfully WBS prevailed, and it was our unheraled rookies Filewich and Stone who seemed to be the biggest Sound Tiger killers. Great series, and tough luck to the Tigers and Isles. Now on to Hershey.
