Do you guys think he'll get a chance to see some action? I mean If Conks isn't back in the next few day, Tommy has played all of the games but one and one period. Going on a long road trip I'd like to see them play Valiquette. He's had success anywhere he's played. He's had excellent numbers in the AHL consistently for a long time, and even in the six games he played in Long Island he had a .949 save% in six games.

I would be they'd try their best to avoid giving Valiquette any games, but if Conklin's going to be out for much longer they might "have" to play Valiquette.

I'm sure they're hoping for Conklin to recover enough soon to play a game early into the road trip, but a groin problem like Ty has can take a while to heal properly.

The one game on the road trip that stands out as a game to play Valliquette (or Conklin if he is ready) is the game against the Rangers.

Tommy has yet to play a good game against them in NY from the time he has been an Oiler imo
