Jeeze, not a lot of Ranger fans have a lot of faith in your own team huh?

If the Rangers come out and play hockey like they have most of the season it will be a VERY even matchup.

You forget, people are totally fearful, so jinx's and karma and all of the superstitions are showing their face, not truth.

It's tough to have faith when you end the season like the Rangers have plus add in injuries and lack of overall scoring and you start to see some problems.

Throw in an opponent that is the hottest team in the NHL, with a Hall of Fame goalie, possibly a HOF executive coaching the team, 12 guys who have won the Cup and also a style of play that can play it tough if it wants to or can play wide open and you have a recipe of disaster in my book.

I can't honestly say if the Rangers play the way they have most of the season that it would even be a seven game series.

I see many holes in this team and not many at all for the Devils. Sorry, just calling it the way I see it.

Yeah...Then when we beat the devils we get to host the Canadiens in the Semi's!

Has that ever happened before...The 5, 6, 7, and 8 seeds winning in round 1?

The Rangers will win it. You heard it here... 57th!
I dont care how, they just will. and they'll do it in 4-7 games. That way i've got a 50-50 shot of being correct.
Rangers - Devils

Ducks will beat the flames. Selanne will score a hattrick every game. Screw kipper.
Ducks - Flames

Avs will beat the Stars, I base this on absolutely nothing except possibly the fact that i think their jersey looks a bit nicer.
Avalanche - Stars

Ottawa will beat tampa, but they will lose in the 2nd round.
Ottawa - Tampa Bay

The Canes will forget all sense after Saku Koivu throws throws down his gloves and gives Rod Brind'Amor a nice whoopin. As if.
Carolina - Montreal

Forsberg will injury his flangy (or whatever make-up organ they called it in friends) and the flyers will go down after that.
Buffalo - Philly

Detroit, the west's finalist will whoop edmonton, nuff said
Detroit - Oilers

Joe thornton will continue his series of playoff-freezes, and the Preds will stun the sharks in 4 straight.
Sharks - preds

Fear my predictions!

It would be one thing if we were matched against the Flyers or the Sabres who've had their share of problems, too. but the Devils are playing just great now.

If Renney can get the Rangers act together (pre- Olympic Rangers) it could be a great series, but if we keep floundering we're cooked.

We CAN beat the Devils. We're going to have to play smart and play hard...but there's no reason we can't. The records are reset...everyone starts at 0-0. In the playoffs anything can happen!
