Technically not Grandview -- Columbus. Easier to say Grandview though.

I live at King Ave. and Elmwood.

I'm so jealous - you can walk to Marshalls!!!! Cory the bartender there is awesome - we used to go about 4 times a week when we lived there. He always remembered I liked my BLTs on wheat. Love that guy. We lived in Grandview for about three years - Haines & Grandview Ave. Great location. Even close enough to walk to Burns. Yum.

Welcome Bart - and you mine as well get used to saying inlaws now. Apparently another case of pseudo-relatives eh? BTW - inlaws are funtastic - esp ones that wear tie-dyed tank tops and clogs with knee socks to bars where their daughter-in-law is about to meet 10 new people for the first time.

Normal is not the best word to describe my inlaws... however... they are wonderful loving people and I couldn't have got a better pair. Now... if they would just leave me alone about having babies and continue with their annual Chili & Margarita party I will be a happy camper

I was like 5. My dad used to be a Red Wings fan and that's when I noticed him. I remember really liking him when he was on my cereal boxes lool with his unforgetable white skates.

I had Taco Bell - but it was the one on 5th!

On a related Grandview food/drink note -- saddly, the Rose & Thistle on Chambers will be closing June 30th. Owners hope to resurrect it somewhere in Grandview in the near future, but those details are still to be determined, I guess. It won't quite be the same though. That little basement bar (which actually is surprisingly large) has real character, a good atmosphere and is one of my favorite places to get food and brew.

I've never been in a REAL pub before, but I'd imagine it is somewhat close to what you get at The Rose & Thistle, rather than a certain other "pub" in the Grandview area.
