Hoping for an entertaining and injury free contest tomorrow afternoon.

I'm looking forward to seeing Raycroft in net. I'd assume he is playing. Also looking forward to seeing our old buddy Moran (and also hoping to exploit some of his defensive shortcomings ).

What is the status of Zinovjev?

By the way, Fleury will be making his third consecutive start tomorrow. If anyone was wondering.

Looking forward to seeing Fleury for the first time........hope the kid does well............except when he plays the Bruins. How bout a 3-2 win for the Bruins with the Bruins peppering Fleury with chance after quality chance which Fleury stops....... so he loses but plays well in the process. Thats sounds o.k. to me.

i thought koltsov71 was the carolina fan. it's really too hard to keep up these days

raycroft will probably play, but i wouldn't be overly shocked if potvin got the call again.

zinovjev is currently the 2nd line center, with samsonov and lapointe on his wings. he played an excellent game against montreal thursday night.

not a surprise about fleury...looking forward to seeing him play, and then lighting him up like a christmas tree :moon:

koltsov is a Pens fan first, Canes fan second.

Hoping for a good game, predicting a 2-1 B's win...

Were you watching the same game I was? I thought the Zinovjev did not play well. He had zero points (like all his teamates). But he also failed to pass the puck when he was hemmed in and and had the chance on several occasions.

It appears to me the Sergei II still has that European rink mentality, i.e. he has all the time he wants to make a play, and, for that reason, holds onto the puck too long. I hope he responds to what surely will be instructions from Sully, Cash, Sergei I et al.

On the goalie point, I don't see how Sully can take The Cat out after two consecutive shutouts.

I saw what you meant about Zino.....but you gotta give him a little time to adjust. I think he's adapting aswell as can be expected for someone going through the changes he has.I'll be he only gets better!

I'd like to see Rayzor in net for a rookie challenge. How is Fluery's demeanor as comapred with Raycrofts? has he got the cool, level-headed temperament that Rayzor does?

Fleury has been the epitome of cool. He's unlike any first overall pick as far as attitude goes.

Even Lemieux was an ass when he was first drafted.

There seems to be some confusion as to who should start for the Bruins. I thought your local paper announced Raycroft as today's starter? Just read that this morning.

And yes, Fleury is extremely cool.

2-2 tie. We can't score and I think the Pens are in the same boat. Hope we get a better effort from the Bruins then what we saw Thursday.

Who will start in net for us, Potvin again I would think?

i dont really cares who gets the start, i think potvin has earned it 2 great games in a row, but i di hope that the bruins offence breaks out and they have an entire game like they played the 3rd in jersey

sorry pens fans, our team really needs it, maybe murray with the trick would be nice

I thought Zino was our best forward the other night against Montreal.

Good period. I expect the top line to get at least two more goals before the day is over. They look great today, the Pitt D can only hope to contain them, because they cannot hope to stop them.

the first 8 minutes of the 2nd period has already been more fun than any of the montreal or carolina trapfest games. i like how the pens are playing- they play hard despite their obvious lack of talent, and fleury is awesome. what a great glove save he made on gill. the b's are swarming all over them, but they need to pop another goal or two soon. fleury is starting to build up that brick wall behind him. i think sammy/zino will get one soon, b/c those two are absolutely flying.
