How has Dimitrakos fared so far?

Hi, Sharks-Fan here...

I just wanted to know how Dimitrakos has played since joining the Flyers... His numbers look not shabby if you look what he did before the trade... I always liked Niko and always will like him, thatīs why I will cheer for you guys in the east...

Go Niko

Niko has been GREAT! Hes been the perfect player to put on a line with Umberger and Carter.

He has been a great addition. He has great wheels and he has picked up a few goals since Carter has been his centerman.

Thanks boss, I'll be cheering for the Sharks because of McLaren, Hannan, Thornton, and Rob Davison. Should it come down to Sharks and Ducks though, I'm going to have to go with Anaheim... they have the Fridge.

Niko has been awesome. Quickly becoming one of my favorite players. I love the energy that he brings.

Good luck to SJ as well. And here's to seeing a PHI-SJ matchup in the SCF.

Yeah Niko is great. Thing is that he is starting to mke moves a lot more. He hangs on the puck very well going under sticks and deckin amny players in the process. We all really like what we are seeing.

Also go sharks!!! I love your team and hope they can make it to the Finals...

Niko has been fantastic. He really has been a pleasant suprise. I know there were quite a few people on here who were not that thrilled at first with the deal. Dont think allot of people are complaining now.

Niko's been great. He's helped Carter and Umberger establish themselves as the true second scoring line on this team.

By the way, if you come back and check the thread, did you folks in SJ have a nickname for him? We've been struggling to come up with a consistent one.

Hes been great which I find funny because Sharks fans were celebrating that they got rid of him.

I guess a change of scenery did wonders for him.

Great to hear that Niko is doing just fine and that you guys love him... He had a very disappointing season in teal but the reason for that is, that he never found linemates that clicked with him. Whenever RW gave him a chance on a scoring-line he would commit a costly error and be send back to the 4th-Line, playing with energy-guys which just didnīt suit Niko that well...

Most of the time he was just called "Dimo", sometimes we refered to him as the "big fat greek winger"

He's hot and cold. He needs hip surgery in the offseason and has been dealing with that bad hip for a couple months now. If you thought he was slow before, he's even slower now. Sometimes he plays well (I thought he was good against Buffalo in game one) and sometimes he's by far the worst player on the ice. But, that's no different than the rest of our team, they're all just as inconsistent.

Have to bring this topic up again

Just wondering, whatīs up with the big fat greek winger? Was he sent to the minors by the Flyers, is he a healthy scratch or is he on IR?

He was a healthy scratch the first two games. Tonight he's on a line with Umberger and Carter.

Hitchcock and Clarke were unimpressed by his preseason, which is why he hasn't been on the ice yet. He played lazily in preseason so he got benched, hopefully he got a wakeup call because I think he is a good player otherwise.

I am sure that benching/scratching will light a fire under his ***... Question is, how long that fire will burn... 1 shift, 1 game, 1 week?

I donīt get it, the guy has some offensive potential but he just seems to be too lazy and disinterested in fullfilling it... Thatīs what made watching Niko so frustrating...

I hope he turns the corner, at least he has good linemates... He had his best stretch in the 03-04 Playoffs alongside Marleau and Damphousse...

If Dimitrakos can get Carter and Umberger going again maybe he could kickstart our offense.

Gagne - Forsberg - Knuble
Calder - Richards - Sanderson
Umberger - Carter - Dimitrakos
Kapanen - Nedved - Robitaille

I could see the 2nd line having some chemistry.

if Carter isn't getting more ice-time than Richards (don't get me wrong, i love Richards), i'm going to fly back from Scotland and kick Hitch's ***.
