Should Chicago follow Dallas and New York?

What I mean, Dallas has been drafting and playing Finns. Dallas is now seen as a more Finn nhl team, just like New York with the Czechs. For Chicago, they should start Drafting Poles. It would work, especially with the gigantic Polish population Chicago has. I know Chicago already have 2 players of Polish descent (Wisniewski, and Bochenski) but with actual Poles, and with the home feeling at Chicago, that could be something.
How are your thoughts about this?

Im talking about them playing in the same team. Players play better with their countrymen. Notice how good Dallas and New York are? Finns and Czechs increased their team gameplay.

But if this where true would not the teams with 5 or more canadians (that would be all 30 teams) play better? Detroit have 7 Swedes but I dont think the key to their success is the nationality in the players passports but the fact that they are very good hockey players.

Oliwa is an excellent enforcer.
Though, I meant also getting prospects from Poland too.

You need more finns. You did buy Salmelainen, you still have time until this summer to sign Viuhkola, Ruutu you already have. Kukkonen, should be yours, according to his excellent play the past 2 seasons... Kontiola will be there in the following years.

So do the Dallas, and you're all set.

Copy? Team would only capitalize from their resources, wich they already have.

And don't get me wrong, but is there really that much of polish players available, now or in the future, who could be considered xHL material? At least from what I've let myself know, there aint any.

Players can form. Draft a few from Poland, they will train and get there. With the Polish community of Chicago helping too (Oliwa story). I mean they are pretty skilled too, back in '04 the World All Stars said them selves that there was no playing around with Poland, who lost in a shootout. Hasek had to be substituted with Brodeur too,

It's our management's job to field the best team possible, regardless of ethnicity

Wolski has been amazing today against Dallas.
1 Goal, and 2 Assists.
A junior coming into the playoffs too.

I think that Chicago SHOULD concentrate on building a primarily Polish tean... they would totally own this year's Penguins and Blues in terms of sucking. But hey, who knows, maybe there is more than a handful of Polish hockey players that can crack the ECHL apart from the 2 NHLers already mentioned and the now defunct Oliwa.

Nah, I wouldn't say a primary Polish team. Maybe like Dallas for 6 Finns, but no, not a primary team.

This is one of the worst ideas I have ever heard.

There should not be any debate going on here.

Dude are you serious???

Why doesnt a Premier League team over in Europe build a team of Canadian Soccer players?

When Czerwaski, Oliwa and ...

wouldb eon your first line you have BIG PROBLEM.

Wolski is Canadian too...

No offense, but a team of Poles probably couldnt have an ECHL team...

And to your NHL All Star vs. Poland comment

Canada tied Brazil in FIFA Soccer...

That doesnt mean ****

Wolsko has Polish Blood, speaks Polish, writes in Polish, heck I talked to him and yeah he is proud to be Canadian, but hates it when people refer him Canadian over Polish.

Anyways, unlike Dallas and New York, Chicago has a large Polish Population. If anyone who knows the story how Oliwa came to the nhl was because when he was in Canada, the polish pop there helped him make it to the big leagues, and improved his play.

A Canadian league in europe? First there are no cities of 60 % Canadian only.
