I'm going to assume that you can't be serious.

"Players can form. Draft a few from Poland, they will train and get there."

According to that logic, I'd be a viable prospect.

Yes, but Polish people as whole don't to care about hockey all that much. Secondly, Chicago is not 60% Polish.

Why not start a Chinese one in Vancouver?

Or a gay one in San Jose? (Near San Francisco)
Why not a latino team in Sunrise?
Ok i was just kidding!!!

Well, it's not a bad idea... but there's not enough Polish-native players in the NHL.

But, on an other hand... well... that could be interesting!

How are your thoughts about this?
They aren't going with a Nationality theme, they're going with an alphabetical theme; the ''B's'': Bolland, Berti, Bourque, C. Brown, M. Brown, Barnaby, Bochenski, Byfuglien, Barker, Barinka, Blunden, Bickell, Brodeur, Brophey, Burish, Brouwer, Bell, Bartovic, Babchuk.

So... expect managment to pick Backstrom or Brassard at the draft. Unless of course they go for a sub theme of players from Winnipeg: Barker, Walker, Turner, Hunter, D. Keith... Toews?

Ice I am still waiting to find out who your uncle is that played on the Norweigan World Cup team in 98. You are amusing. Chicago 60% Polish?!!! Right. Sadly bringing in Borzecki, Kolusz, Chow, Garbocz, Plachta and Oliwa may not drag the Blackhawks level down all that much depending on who they replaced.

Yeah, it's not a bad idea, but the fact is that there just aren't enough Polish players, or at least good Polish players for this to work. I can really only think of a handful of Poles who have played in the NHL.

They don't care because if Poles played they would watch. Everytime Chow or Oliwa played a game in Chicago, the attendance was pretty good. Heck, everything Poland faced Team USA in soccer in Chicago, there were nothing but Polish fans there.

SwisshockeyAcademy: He played in the 1998 World Cup, his name is Jurisen or something. I don't know how to spell his name right, since I never write it out, just call him by name. He still has his jersey too.

HVPOLARBEARS19: They don't have too, think Finland and Czech Rep. The players are drafted from their countries leagues, they don't play in the nhl already.

Because all the good Polish Ice Hockey players drowned during spring training.

_Ice, I got to love your enthusiasm for Polish hockey.

I kept looking for names of players and some more logic in the positon taken
and scouting reports

but I see to much abstract to apply physical debate of logic to it

Yet again, some1 from Chicago organization is mentioning that "finnline" in future. Sakari Pietilä (scout for Chicago) mentioned about that finnish line for Chicago (in an interview for a paper, not online), wich also Tallon had mentioned earlier this year.

Salmelainen - Viuhkola - Ruutu

I wonder how realistic are the chances to see a line like that? At least it seems Chicago is planning on offering a contract to Salmo and Viuhkola (who'll be UFA after June 15, wasn't he?). But from there, I'd say theres a coach and whatnot to get past... so is there actually any propability to see that happen?

He also mentioned, that Lasse Kukkonen is in Chicago 2006-2007 plans, at least.
