too far fetched?...

lets say for the sake of ...saying.... ...that the avs and washington trade again...

To washington: Skoula, Tanguay, Aebischer, 1st(2004), 1st(2006)
to colorado: 1st 2004, Kolzig, and throw a young forward with size if they have any...

to much?... if your washington would yuou take those 4 young guys or would you rather take a shot at overchikin

I think that there is the possibility that Washington could end up with Overchikin increases the value a ton. But I still don't know why we would do this.

I don't see Kolzig as a temendous upgrade over Aebi and the loss of Tanguay and Skoula will hurt our depth. So if Tanguay and Skoula are dealt for Kolzig then our two 1st would be dealt for possibly Overchikn.

I don't think Washington will go for it.

You're right. That is too far-fetched.

First off, because of the draft lottery, you'll never know who ends up with the top pick. Secondly, you can't count the Caps to be this bad throughout the rest of the season. I think it'll be the Sharks holding the worst record this season when all the dust settles.

And Kolzig is playing HORRIBLY right now. No way would I put him in and Avs jersey right now. And don't give me that "he has no defense" excuse. Marc-Andre Fleury is doing better with a defense that's at least twice as bad as the one Kolzig has in front of him.

No, I don't want any more players from that organization. Kono's fine, we don't want to risk bringing any of that bad mojo our way...

Take out all the draft picks, and Tanguay and Aebsicer, then add Witt and then maybe. Only if Abby doesn't look GREAT come Feburary, and Kolzig looks better. We all know, goalie's can play like crap, and then get traded, and shine. Especially if they have proved what they can do in the past. I don't even like Kolzig that much, it's just that the pickens are slim out there, and Abby will have to play his ass off for PL not to make a move for a veteran for the playoffs.

To Was: Skoula, Sauve, + Salary Dump and Previous Was deal.

To Col: Kolzig, Witt.

Ha. Oh well, I can see what he's getting at...sort of.

He's right, Kolzig hasn't won a cup, but he's gone farther in the playoffs than CuJo, Turco, etc.

you honestly wanna give up our starting goalie...one of the few young forwards we have left...and 2 first rounders?

Kolzig is good and all....but not worth all that
