Guess we'll have to disagree. I loved his game tonight, I just don't think he has the will anymore to sustain that type of play. Hey, I don't have any problem being wrong though if he lights it up.

My hope is that a guy like Murray, can add a physical leement while doing the same job. He isn't in Sunny's league defensively at this point, but I think the team wants more of an up tempo style.

Definetly not. If we get a forward on the free agent market there wont be place for sundstrom. I prefer to have Begin and Murray get that ice time.

Easily Sundstrom's best game of the year. I'm not saying I would've dressed him (I probably wouldn't have) but what a decision by Gainey.

Must hurt to be soooooo wrong. He was very strong and got a couple of points to boot. To bad he can't keep it up on a regular basis. Would be a nice time for him to.

I think McPhee was correct in saying S's lost his will to play. IMO Sun has been playing out his contract in order to finish his carreer back home and it was showing in his play this year.

I really wanted BG to try him on the 1st or 2nd lines for a few g's this year bec he'll find the open man and keep the play alive in the offensive zone while alot of our forwards like Ryd and Zed simply hold the puck too long bec they lack vision to find players open soon enough....thats why they're cycling along the boards endlessly.

People forget that Sun played a season on Gretzkys wing in NY...and did very well. Of course anyone would.....but I'll always be intrigued to wonder how well he "could" have done in a more offensive role.

Sunny was there because Begin wasn't. Good call by Gainey.

I'd rather we go and try to sign Pisani instead of resigning Sundstrom.

A Bulis - Plekanec - Pisani third line would be awesome, good defensive play and they could get some great scoring chances as well.

Very good game tonight.

This might actually be a very good series for Sundstrom, considering Carolina's as soft as they are.

I'm curious to see: if Begin's back before this series is done, will Murray hit the press box, or Sundstrom?

Based on tonight's play: definitely Murray.

Well tonight I'm sure none of those would have done a better job than Sundstrom, he got the 3rd star at the RBC center and played a pretty good game, especially on the PK + he got 2 assists.

I was not fond of Sundstrom being in the line-up before the game but he blew my socks off tonight.
