Hey, Oilers fan here. Just wondering if JLA's ice is always that awful? I haven't seen a puck bounce around like that for awhile.

I thought I heard and read in a few places that JLA was one of the better ice surfaces in the league. Could be wrong.

JLA has very good ice. I do not know what the problem was yesterday.

I didn't think it was that bad. Much better than watching a Dallas game or something.

I think it was the unusually warm weather we had (78+ F). Mickey Redmond was saying during the game that the building was really warm, and he thought the typically great ice we have here was suffering too.

I think tomorrow should be better-- hopefully.

Ok, cause I've heard Detroit's ice is comparable with Edmonton's in quality but it definitely didn't look like it last night. Thanks.

must be that when people are actually in the seats, the place heats up. literally and figuratively, how about that.

The ice was terrible last night because it was pretty hot and humid all day.

Not sure what that was all about. Usually, we've got some of the best ice in the NHL.

What did suprise me were the swaths of empty seats in the lower bowl yesterday.

Disgusting.
