anyways...back to this one sided affair...err game! Once again, Denis is the only jacket accomplishing anything...the rest are running around in their own zone

we held em to no goals in the second (mainly cause of Denis) I guess we will have to wait till the third to see which period did the Jackets take off.. the first or the upcoming third

Man, are the BJ's looking totally uninspired or what?
Looks like the morale of this team has went from the gutter to the drain.
I'm starting to feel that emotional detachment someone was talking about earlier.
I hate to sound so pessimistic, and I have forgiven this team alot, but I find it really disturbing when I see such a lack of effort.

........I need.....to find........a box of tissues...........

We've been injured for a while now - still missing 3 guys (this is only Wright's second night back). The defense leaks like a sieve and the offense is invisible if Nash isn't doing it.

It's the NHL versus the AHL most nights against us. Amazing what a deep squad becomes when the injury bug bites. And bites. And bites. And bites. And bites. And bites.

We should be 100% on Friday against Atlanta. Everyone can rest and get ready to play again then. I hope. THEN we can see what we are really made of. Now it's mostly coat hangers and duct tape. And AHLers.

Injuries aside, I think it's quite obvious the team psyche has become a total train wreck. That was just awful, and once again I'm sorry I stayed up to watch......

The only good thing out of this game is that they actually out hit a team for once. Everyone was hitting. Denis was as solid as he could be, the two goals were exactly the same, nothing he could do about any of them unless Leopold shoots them on the ice. Iggy had six great chances in prime areas and Denis snuffed them all out, can't ask for much more out of the goalie.

On the flipside, I think the Flames played one hell of a game, my hat is off to them. Their defense was very sound all night long, and everyone is under 30. Noodles had about, what, one hard save to make all night?

This was pretty hard to watch being a bluejackets fan... Uninspired indeed... 6 road games...1 point to show and Denis Stole that point, nobody else earned it... 10 games so far, possible 20 points, bluejackets sit just above san jose in the western conference with 7 points... The rate we are going now...were looking at a point total 60 or below. Where is the aspirin???

According to Doug MacLean, Letowski has been to a specialist to have the pin removed and they were working on a way to shield his pinky in his glove. When MacLean said 100%, he meant EVERYONE and took care to mention Trevor's status.

Could be that they didn't work out that finger shield, but that was what The Man said.
