Oh, and I don't get the passion for the Premier League. Except for a few teams, the level of technicity is very low...

Personally I prefer the EPL over Serie A cuz the pace of the game is a little faster.

You mean soccer has a pace faster than "snooze"?

Well, seeing as you're still in school, your lack of knowledge is understandable, but snooze is actually a word (!) that means "no, the soccer game isn't finished yet".

To Shabutie :

The pace of the game doesn't make it all. I don't like the kick-and-rush English style. That's a lot like dumping n' crashing the boards in hockey. I prefer a lot when the players enter the offensive zone controlling the puck... Same in football. It's so prettier when the teams just make many passes before getting a shot on goal...

Well, some teams make alot of flashy plays, it's one of the reasons I love Man Utd. They play it both ways. In Serie A, although I love it, it's much more technical were they always need to try to make the perfect plays.

Yeah, I don't criticize MU, Arsenal, Chelsea or Liverpool, who adapted pretty well to the continental style, as their results in Champions League show.

Just that they don't have interesting opponents for the most part of the year...

Oh, and Ruud van Nistelrooij is the opposite of a Holland striker.

To come back to Borat's article, there are really issues in the Netherlands nowdays, and not only in football arenas. The Netherlands are a country that doesn't like to create many laws to forbid stuff. It's written in the article : they like to wait for issues to solve with time passing... That doesn't work very well these times, as xenophobia was growing in the country these last years... Sad but true.
And the KNVB was never able to get rid of the local hooligans. You'll never hear about them in international competition, but in the Dutch league, we hear the same idiotic stories every year.

But that's not Ajax and Dutch football as it is supposed to be. They invented the total football back in the 60's-70's, when Johan Cruijff was leading both Ajax and the Oranje...

Without a Champions Cup, you're a European noname for history.

That's why Marseille is knowm everywhere but not my FC Nantes, despite the same national record.

What? How many titles have Spurs won? If anything, Habs = Liverpool in England. Around the world I'd say Habs = Barcelona because they're a successful team that also represents a minority within a country you might say.

Liverpool isn't in London.

And Barcelona haven't won that many european cups ( just the one in fact), not that it matters when you're looking at which club is the biggest.

Did you start watching football 2 years ago?

No, funny guy. I thought the question was 'who are the Habs in that league?' not 'who are the Habs in London'. I am well aware where Liverpool is. Besides, Arsenal supporters (and Sol Campbell) might argue that Spurs aren't even the biggest club in London. I know that Barcelona has only won 1 euro cup, but they're quite successful on the home front, historically and recently as well. But thanks anyway.
