Wishing the Habs luck

Ducks fan here. GL to you guys in the playoffs. My dad is a huge Habs fan so through osmosis they have become my second favorite team. I watched a good portion of the Habs games this year. I really like the Habs especially that wrist shot of Kovalev's... That game on Saturday sure was fun!

So, GL guys and kick butt. I will be watching.

Lets go Habs!

You can thank this poster (mjb45). He posted a similar topic in the Ducks forum and it gave me the idea.

Can't wait to see the game tomorrow. The Canes will be tougher to play after a rubbing from the coach and the return of Ray Whitney, but I know that Huet and the Habs can do it!

I am hoping the Ducks beat the Flames as well for the same reason. The Flames style is not fun to watch.

Yeah I'm definitely pulling hard for the Ducks against the Flames. I'm a huge Niedermayer fan, and I love the Ducks young forward core(McDonald, Lupul, Getzlaf, Perry). This is going to be a very good team very soon. This is weird, kind of like a Ducks/Habs coalition.

Well the Ducks have been my second favourite team since the year of the finals run. I picked them to go deep at the start of that playoffs, and all of my friends were making fun of me for it. Well I got the last laugh on them, till game 7 of the finals anyway.

So Go Ducks Go! Knock off those boring Flames! Go Go Teemu!

oh, and Go Habs Go, obv. Thanks for the support.

I was watching the Flames/Ducks game and I was torn between who to cheer for. Then, the ducks scored first and I cheered like a little schoolgirl...It's final, I"m supporting the ducks over the Flames this year. Go ducks.

I really like the level of flame-bashing in this thread.. I always feel ahamed to say that I dislike the Flames.

As soon as I say that, there's always some random "but their a Canadian team" comment. Well screw the Flames, I'm an Oilers fan Godamnit!..

Go Habs Go. Go Oil!!!

Nice to see the habs getting some support from other teams fans. Don't see that too often.

I don't see why I should like a team based on their geography.

Ditto. In fact, I don't even like most canadian teams. Edmonton is probably my 2nd favorite canadian team, but even then, there are more American teams I like than the Oilers.

Well you don't have to, but some people do.

I don't like any team outside of the habs, but I hate Ottawa, Edmonton, Calgary and Vancouver less than any other non-Montreal team.

...and as for Toronto, I hate them even more now that they are hogging all the good tee off times at all the golf courses!!!

Yeah, right . I was born in Kelowna, B.C. and am an avid Habs fan, geography means nothing to me and many other fans.

I grew up around the Canadiens and yes, that is because of geography. But I guess I should've said OUTSIDE OF MY HOMETOWN TEAM... I mean, I'm a San Diego Padres' fan... they're the furthest team from me.
