Can't figure out why we are trying to outskill when we need to slow Detroit down with physical play.

Yeah, he really busted that poor stick up.

Oh well, this and the Hudler roughing call kinda make up for that bs penalty shot I guess.

It is, I must admit.

At least my present (3 MBit hispeed wireless) is performing!

Of course, as I say that Hemsky scores a great goal. Karma's like that.

Very nice goal by Hemsky, but I have a question:

How did Smyth get an assist there? I can understand York, it looks like Chelios' clearing attempt went off his stick. But how does Smyth figure in when Chelios slapped it down the ice?

Allright, 4-4.

How about the Hemsky goal. Every other player on this team would have just tried to jam it through Legace. Man, is he ever a talent!

OK Pisani, normally I don't like you but that was some great work on that tying goal.

Reasoner starts it off, and Pisani makes the great pass to Moreau who put it in !

As much as I like Bergie, he's been an absolute nightmare in his own zone tonight.

I'm kind of surprised about the lashing Salo is taking tonight. He stopped a penalty shot, has madesome stops on a few point blank chances, and overall done a full night's work.

I know we all like Bergeron (I do too), but he's the poster boy for the crazy ass pass tonight.

Can we agree?

Somtimes it's not about the saves you make, but the saves you don't make, Lowetide.

whew, 4-4 going to OT.

Why the Oilers try to make long passes out of the end in a tie with 2:00 minutes left just baffles. TWICE!

Man... on the replay, it looks like Pisani (sp?) is trying to shoot but the Wings stick deflects it like a perfect pass... must just be the angle

Okay, help me on this. I know you watch alot more hockey than I do, so which goal should Salo have stopped tonight? The tip on the shot? The long one that Brewer screened him on?

Just curious.

The tip wasn't too bad, but it's not a terrible, terrible goal.

The 1st goal on the other hand was simply brutal. There is no excuse for that going in.

That was the long one, right? I haven't seen a replay, but I thought Brewer screened him on it.

Looks like the Oilers speed and hitting was able to get them back in the game. Great to see they could come back after losing a lead and having four in row scored against them. Gutsy.
