BONK = our MVP so far

I think that BONK is our best playoff in this first 1 1/2 games so far. He is so good offensivly and on the PK. Wow i thought he was a guy that he totally dissapear in the playoff but he seems like a guy that upgrade in play in playoff...

Congrats Radek, keep it up

YEA for all u dam idiots who keep trashing Bonk...this is what he brings to the team goddammit!!
he played a minimum of 2 mins on that 4 min penalty to kill it!
hes killing penalties, taking good shots and generating both offence and defense!!
so plz...stop trashing this guy as he is doing soooo much for us in this series!!

I agree.

If you look at Bonk's contract as being for more of a Peca type D-foward than he does his job. He got so much crap from the fans because a lot of us wanted him to be a 20 goal, 40 point guy.

Emmm...Bonk hasn't been near our MVP in the playoffs so far ur a little nutty. Kovalev and Huet are FAR ahead of him.

I agree with Shab. Bonk's made some excellent plays, but he's not the MVP through 100 minutes.

Bonk is great but Kovalev is just amazing, have you seen his play in the first OT with the wrap around, no one can do that

3 goals and 2 assists so far... not bad

I wouldn't say he's been our MVP so far but he definetly gets bashed far more than desevered in my opinion. He's been doing a great job defensivly like any 3/4 line center should only now int he playoffs when it counts he's putting up a couple points which is nice to see.

I don't know if he is our MVP but he has been amazing for us, performing his role to perfection.

Go Bonky Go!

Bonk: Our secret weapon. To be activated in playoffs only. To be put away during the regular season.

Hope Bonkadoodle keeps it up!

Bonk's been doing well enough. Plekanec really seems to have bloosomed (however the **** you spell that) though.

Bonk has been playing great.. but let's not forget our playoffs warrior Zednik.
The Zednik, Plekanec and Perezhogin line was all over the ice.

I love this year's playoffs team.. although theyre not the biggest players, they play with grit and intensity. almost everyone is contributing..

Disagree. I wouldn't even say he's been our top defenceman so far.

Well I would definately have Kovalev as our MVP to date.

I was trying to figure out who on the habs roster I have been disappointed with in our brief playoff run so far, and really can't come up with a name. Markov and Koivu maybe, but in the slightest of ways.

For me, Koivu has been the biggest disapointment so far. I tried to follow Markov last night. He was good defensively from what I could see, but could do more offensively.

Koivu though, he just seems to have nothing going!

The early MVP favourite has to be Kovalev.

One name that is conspicuous by its absence in the lists posted here is Mike Komisarek. Komisarek has been taking the body and moving the puck up ice quickly and efficiently. Last night he really stepped up and played a solid game, especially in OT. Aside from a few marginal roughing calls he's been disciplined without it affecting his physical play.
