Superstitious fact.

Habs lead 3-0, end of the first. I'm wearing my new brand habs hat I went to purchase to the bell center this afternoon. Girlfriend calls me, I go take a shower and go watch the game with her at Scores, habs start losing...

I get here at home, put my hat back on, get in front of the tv the exact same way I was during the first period, the 2nd OT starts, Ryder scores.

I now possess the holy hat:

had a similar deal with my old-school recchi jersey (habs #8) tonight... had it on in the first, took it off to eat, and then put it back on after carolina scored again at the beginning of the 3rd... coincidence??

Naw, it's definitely Lord Koivu punishing you guys for not being great habs fans and keeping your habs accessories on at all times. Every time you take off your habs clothes, Koivu weeps.

Got one here that's the opposite

My Bro has the stupid fishermen's looking Canadiens hat.

Just before the the 2 nd period start He goes and outs it on.

I never like the thing and I finally told him to take it of after the fourth Hurricanes goal. And voila we score 2.

I watched the first on CBC, the second on RDS, then the rest on CBC. (all because of PVR problems)

On CBC: 6-3
On RDS: 0-2

I'll be watching the next game in English...

Wow! Explain to me how you can talk to your GF, get undressed, take a shower, dry yourself out, get dressed again, pick up you GF (kissy kissy), go to Scores and pick a table in little over 25 minutes, right in time to witness Hab's demise in the 2nd
period?

I have you beat;
Today, I performed the ultimate pilgrimmage; better said, the ultimate pilgrimmage performed me;

Yes. the Stanley Cup came to me. (at my workplace more specifically). And yes, even though I was not allowed to poor Champagne in it and drink from it, I was allowed to pose with it...

And thus, this explains both Buffalo's and Montreal's wins today
