Are they all fast "oh's" or are some of them extended like "ohhhhhhhh"?

Here's a story about old postings of mine on Usenet, Michael Ryder and Thunderstruck.

In his rookie year, I nicknamed Ryder "Thunder" because he had such a quick release on his wrist shot, it was like you heard the goal horn before you realized he had shot.

So everytime he scored with his wristshot (Gimmicked as the "Thundershot") I'd log on Usenet and go nuts, posting a topic with "THUNNNNNNNNNNNNDAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!!!!!!!" or the likes as the header and a simple score update as the post content. And it caught on. Then one time a member of the group recommended we try to get Ryder to learn about his nickname and gimmick, and that happened by the way and he likes it, and that we get the Bell Center to play Thunderstruck whenever Ryder scores on a wristshot.

And then I changed my Ryder Goal Celebration posts to the regular header with the content being "(Goalie Name)...You've Been....THUNDERSTRUCK!!!! NA NA NA NA NA NA NA NA!!!!" and the score update. They still celebrate Ryder goals in this manner to this day on Usenet and I don't post there anymore!

For Trivia, the first goalie to receive this treatment on Usenet was a certain David Aebischer on March 17, 2004.

And since then, they've been playing Thunderstruck regularly, although they haven't attached the song to Ryder.

Damn ISP not having Usenet, and damn Google Groups having such a sucky interface. I miss my Usenet buddies. I posted YEARS on there.

also, I'm listening to a cd I bought today now, and when it's done, if I'm still not tired, I'll work on putting an order to all the songs. About 19 or 20 in all...

Some non-Bell Center, creative attempts at giving theme songs to some of our players

Here what could be either a team anthem (On the angle of the Habs being "The Kings Of Sports") or a Kovalev anthem (On the angle that Kovalev is the "King Of Kings")

http://gorylution.com/dlomyhero/apr2...r,%20JBZA).mp3

Wrestling song? Yes. But very good wrestling song. From Motorhead. No commercial release that I know of, this was recorded off TV I believe.

Here's another one. This is from a Finnish band and is used in wrestling in Japan as an interlude between matches. I don't think it (Or the group) has much popularity anywhere. I think parts could be used as a Saku Koivu anthem, or a team anthem. This is also my favourite song, the musical sense in it is awesome.

A two disk 25 song album entitled "A Night At The Bell Centre" will be uploaded in the morning. I put most of the songs mentioned in here, as well as a couple of others I thought of, but felt like they should be surprises. I'll make a new thread in the morning. It'd take too long to upload them both now. I'm tired.
