Just heard Ron mclean say he will be playing tommorow
Well, if that's true, then it will definately make the game more interesting. Like many have stated, even if he starts the game and plays Brashear-like minutes, it will be a huge boost to the Flyers players and fans. Quite frankly, the team and Hitchcock especially looked lost in game 2; Primeau's return would show them that they better give their damnedest if a guy is risking his career to come back.
Oh, and apologies all around for the idiots from the Sabres side. There have been a few trolls that have always been among us, but the newbies are ruining it all.
Keith Primeau will not play for the Flyers tonight -- even though he's plainly trying to talk his way back onto the ice.
Primeau, who has missed all but nine games this season with concussion symptoms, is working out with the team and is openly talking about returning for this series. But Flyers coach Ken Hitchcock unequivocally shot down any rumors of Primeau playing in Game 3 against Buffalo.
I'm also gonna look around because I saw it this morning, but there was an article that mentioned Primeau started experiencing post concussion syndrome symptoms yet again and is going back to see a neurologist in Philadelphia. Not looking good for big Keith at all. Although, it might be a ploy by the Flyers to actually throw everyone off if they do announce that Primeau will play.
So, say if Primeau ends up retiring because of the concussion, what happens with his contract? Does it still get counted against the cap or does that money get freed up?
EDIT: Found the article. Read below
Although media speculation and optimistic medical reports might indicate otherwise, Keith Primeau is not on the verge of returning to the Flyers tonight as they try to prepare for Game 3. Primeau was pushing hard this week in an effort to join the club, if not in time for Game 3 then perhaps for Friday's fourth game. While Primeau was in Philadelphia keeping an appointment with a neurologist yesterday, it was revealed that he again was suffering from post-concussion symptoms.

Does anybody really expect him to be the same player ever again?
How many concussions has he suffered? Both Afinogenov and Connolly suffered concussions and they don't look at all gunshy about playing in traffic. On the opposite side, after McKee bounced off of Mario and suffered a concussion he was not himself for quite some time... I guess it's hard to say...
If Primeau has had multiple concussions then yeah, he may not be quite the same player he was.
Hopefully nobody pushes too hard and makes bad sacrifices.
Flyers scoop: Primeau finally sets the record straight
VOORHEES, N.J. -- The Keith Primeau saga took an interesting turn prior to Wednesday’s Game 3 of the Eastern Conference Quarterfinals, with Primeau finally setting the record straight on his comeback efforts. Sure, he still wants to play. He wanted to be in the lineup last night, until a hit he took in practice set him back a step.
