Tonight's Lineup???

Any word on tonight's lineup. Who's in and who's out?

Laraque is a maybe, and Salmelainen will take his place if he can't go. Cross is also a game time decision, but neither paper knew who would come out for him. I hope we get to see Stoll again - one game isn't enough for anybody. I hope Salmelainen plays as well - he looked pretty good on Thursday for a guy who had spent the afternoon on an airplane. Apparently he practised on a line with Horcoff and Chimera, could be interesting. MacTavish said that he would prefer to play the healthy guys, so Laraque and Cross are probably out, Stoll too if he's still sick.

I don't think we will see much change from the Columbus game line up. There were some sparks of some chemestry between the lines. So I don't think (wait I hope) MacT doesnt shake it up too much. Besides Laraque and Cross are still both listed as day-to-day on the injured list.

At the morning skate MacT said Cross was very doubtful so it looks like the same D as on Thursday. Salmo is a game-time decision. Conks is back but isn't scheduled to play tonight. Stoll is still out, wasn't even at the rink this morning.

No clue in regards to line combos from the practice though. All I saw was PP stuff. I should say I didn't spend the whole time watching the practice though so I may have missed something.

yeah, i liked that myself. i wouldn't call it "chemistry" on izzy's goal (more "york magic" than anything) but i can see the two as complementing each other nicely.

i also like the idea of dvorak with torres. dvorak is the kind of guy that can make stuff happen with a good grinder type. personally, using the current forecasted roster i'd like to see these lines (LW - C - RW):

isbister - york - hemsky (nice passing and finishing)
torres - smyth - dvorak (a "drive hard to the net" line)
moreau - reasoner - pisani (solid checking as always)
chimera - horcoff - salmo (i really like this idea - good one macT)

just my opinion though. i'll be happy everytime bergy is in and cross or fergy is riding pine.

Seriously though, I'm still pretty optimistic about Bergeron.
