Although they've been on the ice at the same time for most of each game, there's no correlation between his paltry one assist and Kovalev's three goals and two assists. So how could he be helping Kovalev or vice versa?

If you take the overall game of Kovy and Ribs, you can see a great chemistry between those two. Bulis isn't bad at all, but if I have to remove one of the 3 player of the second line, Bulis is my choice.

Won't be any added pressure on Kosty cuz nobody expects much. Maybe it'll pay off?
A kid that hiss main talent is offense would be wated on the 4th line offensive player play with other offensive players to get the most most out of him.

Send a message via MSN to Rise from the Ashes
I just heard on TSN from Michael Whalen that the theory is that they will replace skill with skill and they will insert KOSTITSYN into the lineup.

The theory for Whalen might be way different then the theory of Gainey...Bob is hard to predict so...

It's a tough call...I don't think we can get away with dressing Kost though. He is a winger so we'd have to shuffle some lines. I guess it's possible but I think he'll go with Downey.

Kostitsyn will be here next year but its not his time yet. Bonk will be promoted so there will only be a spot on the fourth line which i hope a guy like Ferland or Lapierre get. Downey cannot play against the Canes, hell get exposed too much and become a liability.

I see Kost in the four line with Murray and Sundstrom or Lapierre . Don't know if its just me , but Kost playing well defencively . I seen him on the pk some time , he doing great . And he can add the aspect of offence that they lost with Bonk out of the line .

Higgins-Bonk-Ryder
Bulis-Ribeiro-Kovalev
Perezhogins-Plekanek-Zednik
Kostitsyn-Murray-Sundstrom/Lapierre

Lets win the 3e game !!!

Edit : I seen one mistake and erase it .
